Retro Game Master finally came to North American shores with the help of gaming website Kotaku, exclusively allowing North American viewers a chance to watch this wonderful television series with English subtitles, and the occasional dubbing for the narrator.

Unfortunately, anyone residing outside of US will not be able to watch the streaming episodes, and thus bring about the birth of this blog-site.

Though hopefully this blog-site will help to spread the love of Retro Game Master to the masses, please kindly support the show if you like it, by buying their DVDs when it has finally been brought to the English-speaking community.

MISC - The Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle

The Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle is a collection of indie titles that you can buy all at one shot while deciding on the price that you think you are willing to pay for.

Yes, that's right. YOU decide the price.

But before you start pumping your fists in the air and decide to pay only USD$0.01 for it, read on and understand why this Humble Bundle is in force for a short period of time, specifically for about 11 days and 12 hours from the time of this post.

The MAIN idea of the Humble Frozen Synapse Bundle is to support charity. Yes, you read it right; it's for CHARITY. More specifically, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the Child's Play Charity. Of course, part of the cost will go to the hard-at-work indie developers that brings you titles like Trine, as well as management costs, servers, documentation, the boring stuff that makes this Humble Bundle possible.

Like the website said, generally the entire cost of the bundle if USD$25.00 for both Frozen Synapse and Trauma, as well as the Frozen Synapse soundtrack, it's definitely a steal and a great way to support charity and indie developers.

HOWEVER!

If you decide to pay above the average cost of USD$4.66, you'll get the Humble FrozenByte Bundle instead, containing the Frozen Synapse Bundle AND these following titles (Trine, Shadowgrounds: Survivor, Shadowgrounds, Splot, and Jack Claw).

Not to mention, all the games in the bundle works on MAC, PC, and Linux, and that also means that there's no DRM, no time-limit of your downloads, and you can install it on all of your computers as you wish.

So, even though the price is up to you, I highly encourage you to at the very least pay above USD$5.00 for the bundle and set the distribution of the cost to the Default Split as is shown in the website.

Retro Game Master - Episode 10 - 53 Stations on Tokaido

The Kachou returns yet again in a NES game title, the 53 Stations of Tokaido. Not exactly a representation of the actual 53 Stations of Tokaido, but hey it's a game during the 80s.

Regardless, the Kachou takes control of a fireworks maker who's trying to get to the last stage and be reunited with his lover. Can the Kachou successfully reach the end of all the stations, or will he be defeated by Sunsoft's supposedly most difficult title? Find out now by watching it here online, or download it via the links further below.
